Paul Hilding is a retired attorney. For most of his thirty five year legal career, he practiced in the field of insurance coverage and bad faith law, representing policy holders exclusively. He now testifies on issues related to his former legal practice.

- Employment: Founding Partner, Hilding Law Firm, 2006-2018; Founding Partner, Hilding Kipnis Lyon & Kelly, 1993-2006; Associate and Partner, Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, 1987-1993; Associate, Higgs Fletcher & Mack, 1983-1986.
- Achievements: AV rating; Master, J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court; San Diego Daily Transcript "Top Attorneys" recognition; Founder and past Chairman, Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Section of the San Diego County Bar Association; Founder and past Chairman of the Carmel Valley Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
